From a food truck at ETH to Globus Bellevue.

kookoo is the idea that Persian food can be fast without becoming superficial.

Our Story

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better," said Albert Einstein.

Einstein began his studies at ETH, then still the Eidgenössisches Polytechnikum, in Zürich, in October 1896. At just 17, he was one of the youngest students. He didn't know where his path would lead, but he was curious about almost everything and had a deep love for people.

Food isn't the business you'd expect from an ETH graduate. And yet everything connects: nature, food, creativity, technology. Healthier communities make people more productive, more creative, more engaged. The best deals are made over food, and our fondest memories are tied to a taste.

Because the laws of nature underlie most scientific and technological breakthroughs, we brought it all together: what we learned at ETH, our wish to be part of the green movement, and our entrepreneurial spirit.

kookoo tells the story of Persian home cooking, of recipes handed down for centuries, from generation to generation. This is the story we want to share with you.

Sustainability and our products' impact on the environment matter to us. That's why we brought kookoo to our city.
